We're not just building internal tools, we're proving what's possible on the ServiceNow platform at scale, for one of the world's most demanding customers: ourselves. Our solutions touch every employee, every day, making real impact on how people work and experience the company. Join us to build experiences that matter, at a scale that will test you, with impact you'll see every single day.
What you get to do in this role:
- Configure and maintain candidate workflows, job posting templates, and recruiting pipelines that match business requirements
- Build and maintain REST API integrations between Avature and core HR systems (ServiceNow, Workday, etc.)
- Develop dashboards and reports for recruiting KPIs (time-to-hire, candidate source quality, pipeline velocity, diversity metrics)
- Maintain sourcing modules, candidate experience features, and application processes to optimize recruiter efficiency
- Build middleware and data connectors to synchronize candidate data, job postings, and hiring outcomes across systems
- Conduct data audits and support ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency across Avature and downstream systems
- Manage job requisition processes, approval workflows, and recruiter tools within Avature
- Partner with Recruiting Operations and DT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues and optimize system performance
- Serve as subject matter expert on Avature capabilities and support user onboarding and change management initiatives
To be successful in this role you have:
• 3+ years of experience in ATS administration, configuration, or development (or equivalent platform experience)
• Hands-on experience configuring applicant tracking systems (Avature preferred; similar platforms like Workday, Greenhouse, or iCIMS acceptable)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and data integration patterns (you can read API documentation and build point-to-point connectors)
• SQL or similar query language experience for reporting and data extraction
• Configuration mindset: comfortable with both low-code configuration tools and scripting/coding for custom solutions
• Problem-solving across technical and business domains—you can translate recruiting workflows into system requirements
• Clear communication skills to document technical solutions and present to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills
• Experience with JSON, JavaScript, or scripting languages
• Background in HR systems, HRIS platforms, or recruiting technology
• Exposure to data governance, compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and secure data handling
• Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Zapier, custom webhooks) or middleware
• Familiarity with agile development practices
Personal Qualities
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and recently implemented systems
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
• Collaborative and comfortable working across HR, IT, and vendor teams
• Proactive learner (willing to grow Avature expertise on the job)
• Curious about recruiting workflows and passionate about improving hiring outcomes
